Frit Swedy Residency Project

The Frit Swedy Residency is a small, weeklong live-and-work artist residency based out of Seattle, Washington.

Frit Swedy is a pet project of mine that I have wanted to do for years. The name came about around 2013, when I moved in with my wild best friend and we lamented how we could not physically make a child together. So we settled on the shared creation of an imaginary small hairy dog child who was at end of life (for ease of length of time of care) and named them Frit Swedy (a combo of both our first and last names). So it is literally… a (fictional) pet project come to life.
